Paliochora is located
in the south coast of Crete, overlooking the Libyan
sea. Paleochora is an important tourist resort, it is
located at the south-southeast coast of Chania Prefecture
and its distance from Chania is 74 km. Regarding
harbour substructures, it offers 2 approaching points:
(a) the eastern dock (Skala) and (b) the harbour south
of the town, which has specifications of a tourist and
fishing harbour. It is linked by boat with Sfakia, Sougia
and the island of Gavdos, areas which are also developing
in tourism. |
